With a strong foundation in functional anatomy and human movement, she focuses on helping clients develop strength, improve postural alignment, and move more efficiently in their daily lives.
Her interest in movement developed through years of competitive sports, including soccer and hockey. Experiencing multiple injuries along the way sparked a deeper curiosity about the body, rehabilitation, and the role of effective movement in both performance and recovery—ultimately leading her to pursue kinesiology. Carly earned her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2016 and went on to gain valuable clinical experience working in multidisciplinary clinics throughout the Durham Region.
Driven by a desire to further expand her expertise in human movement, in 2023 Carly pursued certification in Pilates as a natural extension of her work in kinesiology. She was drawn to its precise, movement-based approach to strength, stability, and body awareness, recognizing it as a powerful complement to her clinical knowledge and a valuable tool for supporting both rehabilitation and long-term movement. Carly also plans to pursue certification in Myofascial Stretch Therapy to broaden her skill set and further enhance her ability to help clients improve mobility and reduce pain.
Carly brings extensive clinical experience working with individuals managing a wide range of injuries and conditions. She is skilled in designing individualized exercise programs and adapting movement strategies to meet the unique needs, limitations, and goals of each client.
